An informative short film has been released by Chem Chem Safaris which Tanzania's UK Head of Tourism Marketing, Tim Henshall describes as, "Challenging, inspirational and uplifting", recommending it to everyone within the travel trade - and their clients - as it deserves a wider audience to highlight the great work that's being done".

At the heart of Chem Chem's conservation efforts lies the restoration and protection of the Kwakuchinja Wildlife Corridor.

Declared abandoned by the Tanzanian government in 2009 due to decades of poaching, overgrazing and deforestation, this vital wildlife passage has witnessed a remarkable resurgence, with elephants and other species not just returning to the region but thriving.

This success is driven by our conservation model — one that seamlessly integrates community empowerment, wildlife protection, and sustainable tourism. Through this approach, we ensure a future where people and wildlife thrive together.
