S!TE set for Dar in October 2024

The 8th Edition of the Swahili International Tourism Expo (S!TE) will be held in Tanzania's Dar-es-Salaam from 11th to 13th October 2024 at Mlimani City.

The event will focus on inbound and outbound travel to and within Africa. S!TE aims to draw tourism and travel professionals from all over the world.

The event will aim at promoting Tanzania’s tourism to international markets and facilitating the linking of companies based in Tanzania, Eastern and Central Africa with tourism companies from other parts of the world.

The exhibition will have the character of a business networking event for the tourism industry, with components of a social dimension to attract local people, families, and experts over the weekend.

The focus of this event extends to various significant aspects of the tourism industry, including marketing, sustainability, conservation, and other market-related issues. Established in 2014, S!TE has evolved into a credible and influential platform for tourism networking and business transactions.

As in previous editions, it is expected to draw a diverse audience of tourism and travel professionals from around the world, reinforcing its role as a vital bridge for Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in East Africa to connect with international tourism markets.

Fam trips around the event include:

  • Gombe

  • Mikumi and Udzungwa

  • Ruaha & Iringa

  • Mafia Island

  • Nyerere, Pugu Forest Dar and Kilwa Ruins
