Following one from a huge enjoyable and successful fam trip to Tanzania's southern circuit, Tanzania Tourism UK has published two training videos - for Ruaha and Nyerere National Parks.
Participants on the fam trip provided honest opinion, as well as plenty of laughs as they tried to correctly pronounce the names of these two parks.
Trade research has clearly shown that UK travel professionals have far lesser product knowledge regarding the south versus the north, which unsurprisingly leads to far less sales for these two incredible parks. Yet there is a real appetite to know more about them, too.
Packed with relevant information and trade opinions, the films also showcase every international standard property in the park, the films are low-budget in-house productions.

"I'm not sure that they'll win any Oscars, but I am happy that they will provide enough information to help tour operators to increasingly sell these amazing parks. If they raise the interest levels of trade professionals to the point where they ask to know more, then we've achieved our objectives", said Tim Henshall, Head of Tourism Marketing for Tanzania in the UK.
Further episodes are planned for production in the near future - including Katavi, Mahale and Saadani, as well as a "newness" film highlighting recently opened properties on the Northern Circuit.
